We join the action back at the heroine’s apartment where this time the beautiful blonde takes great care upon entering her front door - after all, her captors might still have that strange device that rendered her powers obsolete the last time. On this occasion, however, the Black Canary is ready for them but unfortunately, the leather-clad champion of justice does not notice the thin cord stretched out far below her as she slowly walks towards it.

The moment her booted leg touches the trip wire it triggers a hidden canister of gas that immediately shoots a plume into her face. Black Canary coughs and XXXXs as she inhales the foul stench... but it is too late and gradually everything goes black.

When she awakens a short while later, the heroine is horrified to discover she has yet again been rendered helpless!
